Sending well wishes

Hi everyone, I made this card for a colleague who is unwell at the moment, a science teacher!
I hope this cheers him up a bit.

I've had this stamp & die set from MFT for years and this is it's first outing!
The same with the Spellbinders sentiment.

I used lots of leftover bits and scraps from other projects to diecut the colourful "elements".
The background was inked with tumbled glass oxide, spritzed with water then spattered with white gloss spray and diluted black gouache,

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Little Red Wagon, use that stash.
I've used neglected goodies and loads of scraps.

Mix it Up Challenge, I'm playing along with the anything goes option
Waffle Flower A7 piercing layers die; MFT undeniable chemistry stamps & dies; Spellbinders Reaction stamp & die - only used one of the stamps; oxide ink; white gloss spray; black gouache; versafine ink & clear ep; Wow primary red robin ep; vellum and scraps from stash.

Daisies cover die & oxide inks.

Hi everyone, I'm back with another layered card.
This cover plate is a new to me die and it's a bit of a doozy for getting all of the pieces out of.
Loved it once that was done!

I ink blended a panel with kitsch flamingo, squeezed lemonade, salvaged patina and shaded violet oxides. It's a lovely pastel rainbow!

The sentiment was diecut from glossy black card and layered up for dimension, sorry about the glare in the photo.

I added a few bling dots to finish it off.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday, blooming blooms

Inkspirational, I've selected Spring - Mother's Day in Australia

Geometrics & designer paper.

Hi everyone, my last day of holidays so I'm getting in some extra crafty time!

I've been going through my paper pads and trying to think of ways to use them. I diecut this sheet and layered it onto a white diecut for dimension. I popped a smaller piece of white card behind that, then mounted the piece onto a black base card.

The happy is diecut from the same paper, layered onto black then inked and clear embossed for shine. The birthday is diecut from black gloss card.

I did inlay some of the angular pieces back into the design, not sure that that was such a good idea lol!
It looks better in real life.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Tic Tac Toe, I went with the middle row across: birthday, patterned paper and layers.

Allsorts, playing along with the anything goes option

Or make a birthday card using anything you like!

Our party guest Leslie and my team mates have some gorgeous inspiration for you over at the blog, so I hope you get time to play along.

I have been making butterfly cards lately. I have some new hummingbird things in my stash but butterflies won out!

This card uses some new to me goodies from Altenew. I inked up the cardstock, embossed it then used a white inkpad to highlight the texture.

The butterfly is diecut from an ink swatch I made while playing with the colours!
The bottom layer is cut from vellum.
I spritzed the lot with some dazzling diamonds and some spatters of white gloss spray to finish.
Here's a closer look.

I've used tag and butterfly dies.
